The International Symposium on Exotic Nuclei (EXON-2006) is scheduled from 17 July to 22 July 2006 in Khanty-Mansiysk (Russia, West Siberia). The site of the Symposium is Wellness - Hotel "Yugorskaya Dolina" (the mailing address of which is: 628011, Russian Federation, Tumen District, Khanty-Mansiysk autonomic district - Yugra, Khanty-Mansiysk, Tobolskii Trakt St. 4).

The scientific programme of the Symposium will be drawn on the basis of the submitted abstracts. The list of registered participants can be found at the web-site of the Symposium: http://www.jinr.ru/exon2006/. For questions concerning the scientific programme, you may contact the Organizing committee at exon2006@jinr.ru. The final programme will be available at the web-site by 15 June. After that, all speakers will receive official invitations and will be informed of the time allocated for their talks.

VISA INFORMATION
Official letters of invitation will be sent to the participants of the Symposium as well as to their accompanying persons after submitting to the Organizing Committee their personal data.
In order to receive official invitations, the participants are asked to fill in the registration form http://www.jinr.ru/exon2006/registr_visa.htm. This form is needed to make the visa application. It is necessary to contact Ms Anna Kartavenko (annak@jinr.ru) in case of questions concerning the visa applications.

TRANSPORT
It is possible to reach Khanty-Mansiysk by flights of UTAir. There is one flight each day from the Vnukovo airport in Moscow. Tickets can be bought abroad. The Organizing Committee arranges delivery of participants from the Khanty-Mansiysk Airport to the venue of the Symposium and back. Please inform the Organizing Committee well beforehand on the date of your arrival/departure.

PROCEEDINGS
The Organizing committee will publish the proceedings of the Symposium. The requirements for the original manuscripts will be given in the Third Circular.

PAYMENT
The registration fee for the participants of the Symposium is 500 €, for the accompanying persons - 350 €. It will be accepted in cash during the registration. It includes meals (lunch, dinner, coffee breaks), the publication of the Proceedings, the reception, a banquet on a ship, the social programme, transportation from the airport of Khanty-Mansiysk to the Symposium site and back. It does not include accommodation.

IMPORTANT DATES

• 16 July (evening) - sight-seeing in Khanty-Mansiysk, reception
• 17 July (morning) - opening of the Symposium
• 19 July (evening) - poster session
• 20 July (after the morning session) - excursion on a ship, banquet
• 21 July (evening) - dinner, cultural programme
• 22 July (morning) - Round table discussion, closing of the Symposium
• 22 July (afternoon) - excursion
• A special cultural programme will be organized for the accompanying persons.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Rooms will be reserved at Wellness - Hotel "Yugorskaya Dolina". The price is from 60 to 80 € per night. It is possible to stay at the Hostel of the Yugor State University at the price of 15 € per night. This is preferable for young scientists. Please, inform the Organizing committee before 15 June of your preferences concerning the accommodation.
